This specimen was lot 70293 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, May 2018), where it sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 25 Cents, 1902. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder. Bright, a few marks but with lustrous fields. A better date. Ex: Bowers & Merena sale, September 1989, lot 4145 (tag included)." This type was struck 1902-1910 at the London and Heaton mints. All the dates are rare in high grade.
