This specimen was lot 29460 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $517. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 5 Cents 1901 MS64+ PCGS, London mint. The final year from the Victoria series, this specimen features a lustrous, mottled patination pattern in delightful shades of steel gray and deep purple. A small wisp on the queen's neck prevents the gem designation, but blends nicely into the surrounding tone. An altogether choice and fully original offering. Ex. Landon Collection." This date is common.
