This specimen was lot 29662 in Heritage sale 3035 (Long Beach, September 2014), where it sold for $5,287.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Theodora, sole reign (1055-1056). AV tetarteron nomisma (19 mm, 4.02 g, 6h axis). Constantinople. IC - XC, facing half-length bust of Christ Pantocrator, with cruciform nimbus, two pellets within each arm / + ΘЄOΔΩ AVΓOC, facing half-length bust of Theodora, wearing crown with pendilia, saccos, and loros, and holding globus cruciger in left hand and jeweled scepter in right.
