This specimen was lot 56386 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bundi. Rupee, VS 1921/1864. Ram Singh (under Victoria as Empress). NGC MS-61. The sole finest graded example certified by NGC. From the Nicholas Fritz Collection." This type was struck nearly continuously VS 1915-1941 (1858-84) and is inexpensive in circulated condition. Nazarana rupees also exist. Bundi is surrounded by Gwalior, Kotah and Mewar.
