This specimen was lot 32414 in Heritage Sale 3115 (Chicago, May 2024), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bulgaria: Republic gold Proof "St. Ivan of Rila" Lev 2002 PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC, Bulgarian mint. A scarce, low-mintage Bulgarian Gold Proof in immaculate condition. Accompanied by COA." This design was also used to strike a bimetallic coin for circulation (KM 254).

Recorded mintage: 2,000.

Specification: 15.55 g, 0.999 fine gold.
