This specimen was lot 72185 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, June 2020), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "BULGARIA. Stotinka, 1901. Paris Mint. NGC MS-63 Red. A delightful orange-red example, this choice piece is exceeded in the NGC census by just two other pieces." This one year type is common. It was struck in Paris to the standard of a French one centime. Prince Ferdinand promoted himself to king in 1908.
