This specimen was lot 3357 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH HONDURAS: George V, 1910-1936, AE cent, 1914, brown with some red, glossy obverse, NGC graded MS64 BN." This type was struck 1914-19, 1924-26 and 1936 and is rather scarce, especially in nice condition. The country, long claimed by Guatemala, is now known as Belize. The issues of British Honduras are marked by their dull design; the reverse on this coin was used during the reigns of queen Victoria, kings Edward VII, George V, George VI and later queen Elizabeth II.
Recorded mintage: 175,000, a fairly common date.
