This specimen was lot 76202 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it sold for $432. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH GUIANA. 4 Pence, 1917. London Mint George V. PCGS MS-65." This type was struck intermittently 1917-36 and was struck to the standard of a British homeland four pence, then only struck for the Maundy sets. The earlier groat of 1911-16 (KM 28) had the reverse legend "BRITISH GUIANA AND WEST INDIES". All the dates are scarce in nice condition.

Recorded mintage: 72,000 plus proofs.

Specification: 1.88 g, 0.925 fine silver, 17 mm diameter.
