The first specimen was lot 5599 in Goldberg sale 72 (Los Angeles, February 2013), where it sold for $138. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States - Bremen. Taler, 1865-B. Second German Shooting Festival. Beautifully toned. Choice Uncirculated." The second specimen was lot 2409 in Sincona sale 20 (Zürich, October 2014), where it sold for CHF 75 (about US$94 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted, "Taler 1865. 2. Deutsches Bundesschiessen in Bremen. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (second shooting festival in Bremen, very fine to extremely fine.)" This is the second-to-last issue of the independent free city of Bremen and commemorated a shooting festival. The next large silver coin from Bremen was a thaler of 1871 (Dav-629).

Specification: 17.53 g, 0.986 fine silver, lettered edge; the second specimen is 17.53 g.
