This specimen was lot 10192 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €125 (about US$130). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Søsling Lybsk, 1641. Bremervörde Mint. Frederik III. NGC EF-45. From the L. E. Bruun Collection. Ex: Johan. G. Guildal Collection (Private Sale-1918)." Struck by Frederick III as diocesan administrator of the archbishopric of Bremen, which he ruled 1635-45. This type was struck there in 1641. At the end of the Thirty Years War, Denmark surrendered Bremen to Sweden, which ruled the principality until 1719.
