This specimen was lot 32545 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $396. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic gold Proof 'Discovery Anniversary' 20 Reais 2000 PR68 Ultra Cameo NGC." This commemorative was accompanied by a five reais in silver (KM 654). The reform of 1994 finally stuck after twenty years of hyperinflation.
