This specimen was lot 3354 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRAZIL: Republic, AR 2 reais, 1995, Ayrton Senna - Race Driver, small toning spot on reverse rim, mintage of only 10,000 pieces, Choice Proof, S." The reform of 1994 finally stuck after twenty years of hyperinflation. Wikipedia comments,

"Ayrton Senna da Silva (Brazilian Portuguese: [aˈiʁtõ ˈsẽnɐ dɐ ˈsiwvɐ]; 1960-1994) was a Brazilian racing driver who won the Formula One World Drivers' Championship in 1988, 1990, and 1991. One of three Formula One drivers from Brazil to become World Champion, Senna won 41 Grands Prix. He died as a result of an accident while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix."
