This specimen was lot 3788 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRAZIL: Pedro II, 1831-1889, AR 200 reis, 1846, scratches, toned, better date, mintage of only 406 pieces, NGC graded EF details, R." The series came accompanied by 100 réis, 400 réis, 800 réis and 1200 réis in silver. When the 200 réis resumed in 1854, it was lowered in weight to 2.55 g.

Specification: 4.48 g, 0.917 fine silver, .132 troy oz ASW.
