This specimen was lot 2815 in Goldberg sale 75 (Los Angeles, September 2013), where it sold for $1,438. The catalog description[1] noted, "Brazil. 6400 Reis, 1782-B. Maria I and Pedro III, 1777-1786. NGC graded MS-61." The Bahia mint issues are generally scarcer than the Rio issues.

Recorded mintage: 60,000.

Specification: 14.34 g, 0.917 fine gold, .423 troy oz AGW.
