This specimen was lot 74534 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brandenburg. 6 Groschen, 1680-HS. Kaliningrad (Konigsberg) Mint. Friedrich Wilhelm. NGC AU-53. Pleasingly toned and only lightly handled, this minor yields a high degree of enchanting flair." This type was struck in large quantities for this German state 1674, 1679-88. At the time, 24 groschen = one thaler.
