Sincona Auction 103, lot 206

This specimen was lot 206 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$381 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHLAND Brandenburg-Preussen, Markgrafschaft, 1417 Kurfürstentum, 1701 Königreich. Friedrich Wilhelm, 1640-1688. 2/3 Taler 1674 IA, Halberstadt. Münzmeister Johann Arendsburg. Fast vorzüglich. (Germany, eletorate of Brandenburg, Frederick WIlliam, 1640-88, two-thirds thaler of 1674, Halberstadt mint. About Extremely Fine.)"

Other gulden for 1674 include KM 435 and KM 436 with initials IL. The photo in the SCWC for this type actually shows KM 445.1, a product of the Minden mint.
