This specimen was lot 71525 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2022), where it sold for $216. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Bombay Presidency. 1/5 Rupee, Year 3 AH 1133 (1721/23). Muhammad Shah. NGC MS-62. Offering an attractive glossy surface and charming details, this handsome fractional displays uncirculated beauty and should attract the attention of a specialist on this account." This type was struck years 1-5, 8-13, 21, 24-25 and is priced slightly higher than the contemporary rupee.
