This coin is a one year type but is quite common. It superseded a copper-nickel issue of 1937 which was rejected because of an over adventurous design. No coins were issued for Bolivia between 1951 and the reform of 1965.
Recorded mintage: unknown but common.
Specification: 4.51 g, copper-nickel, 22.58 mm diameter.
Catalog reference: KM 179.2.
