This specimen was lot 34033 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2024), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 8 Soles, 1835-PTS LM. Potosi Mint. PCGS AU-58. Only displaying the most limited instances of handling, this 8 Soles offers good charm and eye appeal throughout." This type was struck in large quantities 1827-40 after Bolivian independence. It was struck in Potosi. This coin usually comes poorly struck on bad planchets. Later eight soles were struck to the same weight standard until 1859, when the weight was lowered to 20 grams.
