This specimen was lot 33399 in Heritage sale 3098 (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $4,560. The catalog description[1] noted, "Austria: Karl VI Taler 1729/8 MS65 NGC, Prague mint. Beaming with luster and fully struck upon a choice flan, with a rarely encountered level of detail and preservation for issues of this period. An exceptionally pleasing representative." This type was struck was struck 1728-40 and is not rare.
