Sincona sale 34, lot 4292

This specimen was lot 4292 in Sincona sale 34 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 700 CHF (about US$831 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Karl VI. 1711-1740 Taler 1715. Prag Ohne Münzmeisterzeichen. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Walzenprägung. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, thaler of 1715, Prague mint, without mintmaster's initials. Rare, About extremely fine, struck on roller dies.)"

This early thaler of Charles VI, struck 1715-16, is fairly common.
