Bohemia 1610 thaler Dav-3028
This specimen was lot 3068 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €825 (about US$1,168 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II., 1576-1612. Reichstaler 1610, Kuttenberg. Münzmeister Paul Skréta Sotnovský von Závorice. Seltener Jahrgang. Fast sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1610, Kuttenberg mint. Rare date, very fine.)"
The Bohemian thalers of 1610 include KM 122, KM 25/Dav-3019 (Prague mint), KM 26/Dav-3028 (shown here), KM 36/Dav-3030, KM 93/Dav-3022 and KM 94. This type was struck 1602-12 and is fairly common.
