This specimen was lot 6081 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2017), where it sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOHEMIA. Taler, 1602. Kuttenberg Mint. Rudolph II (1575-1612). NGC VF-25. SCARCE classic Taler from Kuttenberg. Even wear consistent with assigned grade but without any detracting heavy marks or surface issues. Old cabinet toning with some light peach and pale blue hues livening up the surfaces." This type is listed for 1578-1600 as Dav-8079 and listed for 1601-02 as KM MB255 and Dav-3023. The issue, which is common, is typically Austrian.
