Bohemia 1594 thaler Dav-8081
This specimen was lot 1867 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €3,800 (about US$5,381 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Rudolf II., 1576-1612. Reichstaler 1594, Budweis. Münzmeister Christof Mattighofer. R Gutes Portrait, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Holy Roman Empire, Rudolf II, 1576-1612, thaler of 1594, Budweis mint. Rare, good portrait, very fine to extremely fine.)"
