This specimen was lot 1322 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $1,080. The catalog description[1] noted, "BHUTAN: Jigme Singye Wangchuck, 1972-2006, AV sertum, 1979, 75th Anniversary of the Monarchy, mintage of 1,000 pieces, in original case and with official certificate of issue, Brilliant Unc, R." This format was used for several NCLT's in the 1970's and 1980's.

Recorded mintage: 1,000 + 1,000 proofs + more struck in platinum.

Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold.
