This specimen was lot 75711 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2022), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Beromunster. 1/2 Taler, ND (1720). PCGS AU-58. Pictured is St. Michael subduing the Devil. Beromunster is an Abbey in Canton Luzern, founded in 720. This coin was issued upon the thousand year anniversary of the founding of the Abbey." Numerous varieties (KM 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 16, 17) exist of this issue, which was accompanied by a quarter thaler and a michaelgulden.
