This specimen was lot 73690 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "BERMUDA. 5 Dollars, 1988. Elizabeth II. GEM PROOF. Commemorating the San Antonio, a Portuguese carrack that met its fate on the west reefs of Bermuda in 1621. Deeply mirrored fields and satiny devices. In original box of issue. Attractive." This NCLT accompanied a palladium 25 dollars (KM 63).
