Belgium 1971 25 centiemen

This 25 centiemen was struck for king Baudouin I of Belgium, 1964-75. All dates are common. An equal quantity were struck with French legends (KM 153.1). Varieties exist with medal alignment (KM 154.2). Belgium joined the euro in 2002 and all the franc coinage is obsolete.

Recorded mintage: 16,000,000 plus 16,000,000 with French legends.

Specification: 1.8 g, copper-nickel, 16 mm diameter, reeded edge.
