This specimen was lot 1370 in Jean Elsen sale 147 (Brussels, June 2021), where it sold for €100 (about US$146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Albert Ier (1909-1934), nickel 50 centiemen, 1934NL. Rare Nettoyé. Très Beau. (kingdom of Belgium, Albert I, 1909-34, nickel five centiemen of 1934, Dutch legends. Rare, cleaned, Very Fine.)"
This type was struck 1922-23, 1928-34 along with KM 57 (French legends). This is the only rare date.
Recorded mintage: 935,000.
Specification: 2.5 g, nickel, 18 mm diameter.
