This specimen was lot 969 in Jean Elsen sale 161 (Brussels, March 2025), where it sold for €60 (about US$78 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold II (1865-1909), Cupro-nickel 25 centiemen, 1908 NL. Petites taches. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold II, 1865-1909, copper-nickel 25 centiemen of 1908, Dutch legends. Light stains, Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1908-09 with French (KM 62) and Dutch legends (shown here) and is common. This was the only denomination struck at Brussels in 1908.
