This specimen was lot 1266 in Jean Elsen sale 156 (Brussels, September 2023), where it sold for €220 (about US$282 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIQUE, Royaume, Léopold Ier (1831-1865), Cu 2 centimes, 1845. BRAEMT F sans point. Fleur de Coin. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold I, 1831-65, copper two centimes of 1845, no dot in engraver's signature. Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1833-65 in large quantities but most dates before 1845 are scarce in nice condition.
Recorded mintage: 8,324,000, a common date.
