Sincona sale 13, lot 2014

This specimen was lot 2014 in Sincona sale 13 (Zürich, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description^[1] noted, "Leopold I. 1831-1865, 1/2 Franc 1843. Fast FDC." This type was struck 1833-44 at the Brussels mint. The specification matches the French half franc of Louis Philippe.

Recorded mintage: 366,000.

Specification: 2.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .072 troy oz ASW, reeded edge, this specimen 2.50 g.
