This specimen was lot 74353 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "BELARUS. 50 Rubles, 2010. Vilnius Mint. NGC PROOF-68 Ultra Cameo. An uncommon type, with a limited mintage, offering appealing details and charming sharp eye appeal." This NCLT was struck in Vilnius for Belarus to honor the 600th anniversary of the battle of Grunwald, in which the king of Poland-Lithuania defeated the Teutonic Knights. The country has been under the iron rule of Alexander Lukashenko since 1994.
