This specimen was lot 1080 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 1,000 CHF (about US$1,524 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"WEISSRUSSLAND Republik, seit 1991. 50 Rubel 2010, Uhu (Bubo Bubo) mit Diamantaugen. 7.78 Gramm Feingold. (republic of Belarus, since 1991, fifty rubles of 2010, eagle owl with diamond eyes. PCGS PR69 DCAM.)"
This NCLT was struck by B. H. Mayer Kunstprageanstalt of Karlsfeld, Germany, for Belarus, to honor the eagle owl. The country has been under the iron rule of Alexander Lukashenko since 1994.
Recorded mintage: 2,000 proofs.
Specification: 7.78 g, 0.999 fine gold, 25 mm diameter, reeded edge, 0.250 troy oz AGW.
