This specimen was lot 5332 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,644 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH, Maximilian I. (IV.) Joseph, 1799-1806-1825. Konv.-Taler 1824. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian Joseph, 1806-25, convention thaler of 1824. Scarce in this quality, about uncirculated.)"
This type, struck 1822-25, is rather scarce compared to the similar convention thaler of 1807-22.
