This specimen was lot 3692 in Sincona sale 9 (Zürich, October 2012), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Bayern, Kurfürstentum, Maximilian III. Joseph, 1745-1777. Madonnentaler 1775, Amberg. Leicht just. Gutes sehr schön. (Electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian III Joseph, 1745-77, Madonna thaler of 1775, Amberg mint. Light adjustment marks, good very fine.)"
This type, struck at Munich and Amberg 1760-77, is common. These "Madonna" thalers were very popular among the inhabitants and many were made into religious pendants.
