Künker sale 335, lot 3445

This specimen was lot 3445 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €380 (about US$497 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM: Maximilian I. 1598-1651. 1/6 Taler 1624, München. R Kl. Randfehler, vorzüglich. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Maximilian I, 1598-1651, one-sixth thaler of 1624, Munich mint. Rim defect, extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1623-24.
