Künker sale 335, lot 3376

This specimen was lot 3376 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €360 (about US$471 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, Wilhelm IV. unter Vormundschaft, 1508-1511. 1/2 Batzen 1508, Straubing. Kl. Prägeschwäche am Rand, sehr schön. Exemplar der Auktion Fritz Rudolf Künker 108, Osnabrück 2006, Nr. 24. (Germany, duchy of Bavaria, William IV under regency, 1508-11, half batzen of 1508, Straubing mint. Weakly struck, very fine.)"

Half a batzen was two kreuzer. At the time, sixty kreuzer = one thaler.
