This specimen was lot 3637 in Stephen Album sale 50 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $114. The catalog description[1] noted, "BANGLADESH: People's Republic, AR 20 taka, 1998, Opening of Bangabandhu Lamuna Bridge, mintage of only 2,000 pieces, Proof, S." Wikipedia comments,
"Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (1920-1975), popularly known by the honorific prefix Bangabandhu (lit. 'Friend of Bengal'), was a Bangladeshi politician, revolutionary, statesman, activist and diarist. As a politician, Mujib had held continuous positions either as Bangladesh's president or as its prime minister from April 1971 until his assassination in August 1975. Bangabandhu Bridge, also known as the Jamuna Multi-purpose Bridge (Bengali: যমুনা বহুমুখী সেতু Jomuna Bohumukhi Setu) is a bridge opened in Bangladesh in June 1998. It connects Bhuapur on the Jamuna River's east bank to Sirajganj on its west bank."
