This specimen was lot 73686 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $80. The catalog description[1] noted, "BAHAMAS. 10 Cents, 1970. Elizabeth II. PCGS MS-68. Honey-yellow surfaces framed in an abundance of neon pink and metallic blue. Altogether enchanting." This type was struck 1966-70 at London for the Bahamas. In 1971, the Franklin Mint took over production until 1983. All dates are common. The bonefish on the reverse makes this coin a popular souvenir for sunburned tourists.
