This specimen was lot 10048 in Ponterio sale 169 (Baltimore, November 2012), where it sold for $206. The catalog description^[1] noted, "AZORES. Terceira Island. 10 Reis, 1830. Attractive orange mint luster with partial toning. NGC MS-63 RB. From the Demarete Collection." This type was issued on Terceira island by the supporters of Maria Ii against her uncle Miguel, king in Lisbon.
