This specimen was lot 2630 in Steve Album Auction 51 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2025), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "AWADH: Sa'adat Ali Khan II, 1798-1814, AR rupee, Muhammadabad Benares, AH1233 frozen year 26, in the name of Shah Alam II, with fish, star and flag symbols; fabulous example, probably the finest we have seen! NGC graded MS64." This type was struck AH 1201-1234, all with regnal date 26, referring to the distant and powerless Mughal emperor Shah Alam II. The actual ruler was Ghazi ud-Din Haidar, nawab wazir of Awadh 1814-18 and king 1818-27.
