Sincona sale 77, lot 2514

This specimen was lot 2514 in Sincona sale 77 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 4,500 CHF (about US$5,642 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA | Princely States | Awadh, Jalal al-Din 'Ali under the Mughal Shah 'Alam II, 1174-1221 H. (1759-1806). Mohur Year 32 (1206 H.), Najibabad. Selten. NGC MS66. Prachtexemplar. (Rare, Cabinet piece.)" The SCWC lists this type for regnal years 18, 20, 23-27, 32 and 37. Some also have the AH date but not this one.
