The specimen shown is an example of a type struck in Austria, 2002-07. Austria began minting euros in 2002. The admission of additional members caused the reverse to be redesigned in 2008 to show the enlarged zone.
Recorded mintage: 54,800,000 plus 100,000 for BU sets plus 20,000 proofs.
