Austria 1934 100 schilling
This specimen was lot 3440 in Sincona Auction 101 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 1,950 CHF (about US$2,939 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH I. Republik, 1918-1938. 100 Schilling 1934, Wien. Vorzüglich. (first republic of Austria, 1918-38, hundred schilling of 1934, Vienna mint. Extremely Fine.)"
In 1925, the currency was reformed with 100 kronen (old) = 1 groschen (new) and 100 groschen = 1 schilling. This type was struck in limited numbers 1926-34 prior to the anschluss with Nazi Germany. We doubt it circulated.
