This specimen was lot 3524 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $78. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA: Franz I, 1804-1835, AE ½ kreuzer, 1816-A, PCGS graded MS64 RB." This coin is noted from Vienna (A), Kremnica (B), Karlsburg (E), Günzburg (G), Oravicza (O) and Schmollnitz (S). All are dated 1816 but the SCWC notes that this type was struck until 1852 with a frozen date. It is common. It was accompanied by a quarter kreuzer (KM 2107) and one kreuzer (KM 2113). One thaler = 120 kreuzer.
