Sincona sale 90, lot 1621

This specimen was lot 1621 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 4,500 CHF (about US$6,040 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. 4 Dukaten 1811 A, Wien. Vorzüglich. Winzige Kratzer. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, four ducats of 1811, Vienna mint. Extremely fine, Tiny hairlines.)"

Unlike the single ducat, which was issued from several branch mints, this type was struck 1811-15 at Vienna only.
