This specimen was lot 4880 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,700 (about US$2,339 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Joseph II., 1765-1790. Konv.-Taler 1782 A, Wien. Feine Patina, vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. (Holy Roman Empire, Joseph II, 1765-90, convention thaler of 1782, Vienna mint.)"
This type was struck 1781-90 but is rather scarce compared to the kronenthaler (Dav-1284) minted at the same time.
