This specimen was lot 175 in Künker Auction 423 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €11,000 (about US$15,576 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Dukat 1741, Hall. Antrittsdukat. Brustbild r. mit umgelegtem Mantel//Gekröntes und verziertes, vierfeldiges Wappen (Ungarn, Böhmen / Österreich, Burgund), mit Mittelschild (Tirol). GOLD. Von großer Seltenheit. Vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Schweizerischer Bankverein 37, Basel 1995, Nr. 2472. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, coronation ducat of 1741, Hall mint. Obverse: mantled bust right; reverse: crowned and quartered arms of Hungary, Bohemia, Austria and Burgundy with the escutcheon of Tyrol. Extremely rare, extremely fine.)"
This type was struck 1741 only on the occasion of Maria Theresia's coronation and is rare.
