This specimen was lot 1399 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,400 (about US$1,983 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Karl VI., 1711-1740. Dukat 1722, Wien. GOLD. Äußerst seltener Jahrgang. Min. gewellt, kl. Kratzer, sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, ducat of 1722, Vienna mint. Rare date, slightly wavy, hairlines, very fine.)"
This type was struck 1713-21, 1726-31 and 1735-40 and is common for a ducat of the period.
